Finally, Hubby manages to book his ticket to London. London, here he comes ( and without me sob sob) The bad news is he has to pay higher price for his ticket. When he was trying to get a cheaper ticket in February, it was only about RM2890 for a return flight to London. It was very cheap back then and I was contemplating of following him. He cannot purchase the ticket that time, as his attachment with the hospital is not confirmed until few days back. Because of that, he has to pay hefty price for his ticket. Therefore, for those who are planning to take any vacation, it pays to book early. I am currently browsing Hawaii Vacation Info. In case you wonder why I am browsing this site. I really need a break. The last time we went for our vacation was in 2006. I found Big Island Vacation Rentals offer a lot of information for travellers. It is indeed easy to travel nowadays. I am helping hubby to search for accommodation in Edinburgh and I have to admit they are expensive. Travelling to European countries are expensive, more expensive than American countries I reckon. If you're really looking for cheaper flights, consider Royal Brunei next time. Sometimes you can get down to B$800-900 return, Brunei-Dubai-London.
jewelle, th RM2890 is royal brunei, now it's RM3908 but hubby chose MAS pula..hehe
My DH told me Air Asia was much cheaper, but have to transit in HK if I'm not mistaken. But I also prefer MAS even though it's expensive, malas bah transit.
About accomodation, it is here quite expensive. That's why you have to stay at acquaintances place if you have/know anyone. This weekend, we have couple (never met) from Australia staying at our place because of the expensive hotel here. Our place is sometimes like 'free hotel' for people from around the world.
