I like coffee and as I wrote in my previous post I long for Oreo Cheese Cake from Coffee Bean. I didn't manage to get the Oreo Cheese Cake but manage to eat Bluberry Cheesecake at Gloria Jean. Honestly, I know Starbuck, San Francisco Coffee, Coffee bean but never heard of Gloria jean until yesterday. Do you know that they are in town? Ya, at Tune Hotel One Borneo. I went there yesterday with hubby and Sona. Not purposely go but since we had another black out ( the third time is a week..so bad!!!) we have to bring Sona out otherwise she will be cranky. Earlier in the morning hubby saw an advertisement on Gloria jean having Buy 1 Free 1 opening promotion. So we went, I was quite excited to check out the new Tune Hotel too. I know posting this will promote Gloria jean and I know I am sure will go there again as it's quite near to my place but the experiences we had yesterday caused me to rant. They mentioned about having a promotion of buy 1 free 1 but when we went there, they got the guts to say that the promotion is over. Can you imagine having it advertise on that day and told the customer that it's over? Hubby requested to see the manager but lucky her she was not around. Go and check if they still hang the banner ( not one but three banners) saying that they are having promotion. Hubby insist that they put down the banner. I saw they only put down one of them. This should not happen, as a consumer we feel cheated.

Oh they have it here now? I went there a couple of times, masa di KL, but it wasn't ALL that pun..
I don't know why they did that. Really bad promo on their part lah seriously! They should run their promotion when as long as their banner are still up or their ads in the paper are still running..
Btw, my place pun always blackout in the morning after the incident last month. And my internet connection became screwed up after that.
You know I never been to Gloria Jeans, even here in KL! I dunno if it's good or not... I prefer Starbucks anytime! :D
Teruk jugak they buat like that kan.. And I do agree it's a way of cheating consumers because most consumers would feel embarrassed to walk away once they're already seated and end up just ordering anything on the menu. Where in actual fact they came for the promotion. Well, let's just see how long they can last with that kinda service..
hmmm that's dissappointing cos I am a stalwart seater at GJ (the ones in Perth lah) - I personally prefer it to CB ...now that GJ is in kk sudah, I will go try out when I am home next...

Gloria Jeans? Never heard also.. hehe so terrible juga dorang punya promo tu, dena. the staff need training la tu, teda PR yang bagus....

You know what? You should have insisted for the promo. I mean they still had the banners and buntings up so they have to honour what's on it. I would have given them hell! LOL!

Oh they are indeed cheating customer if like that. Sedangkan food that don't look like the one in the menu pun buli kena bising (if no fine print saying it's for advert purpose)..apa lagi ni yg terang2 tayang promo banner but is telling customers, it's not available.
Teda manager dia that time? Temberang betul oh. How can there is no manager in-charge...an outlet like that, they should ALWAYS have one on duty cos I'm sure GB is a franchisee here in KK. Just like CB and Starbuck.
manager not around that time if ada sure kena tiau by my hubby...my hubby nie, kalau marah orang teruk juga..but they deserve it la.we received a feedback sudah ..hehe
