Her Dream Came True!

Newark, Here I come again!

Arieal at Disneyworld Orlando

Didn't I say again and again that dreams do come true?

Read this first and you know what I mean. When I looked at the date again, it was 30 September 2007. That's almost 2 years back! In fact the journey ( our journey to the USA was over 2 years ago),7 June 2007 to be exact and someone's dream is coming true again. Yea, I think it's safe to shout to the whole world again that DREAMS DO COME TRUE! Yea, my dearest and only sister ( in case you don't know -grin) is leaving for the states again, this time not for a holiday. I am not so sure if she really hope to go to the state to study as her initial plan was to go to New Zealand to study the volcano and be the first geologist expert , 'Volcanologist' (not sure if the term exist) in Malaysia. But I guess, she must have dreamt a lot about New York, watch too much CSI and wishing she will go to Disneyland again, that landed her the opportuniy to study there. If anyone watched Transformer, my sister will be at the University featured in the movie by next month and she is so excited or may be thrilled!

We are happy for her but at the same time living without her for the next 2 years is unimaginable! We have been meeting like every week at my parents house for her Kopi Tenom and whatever food she has ready for us on the table, shared stories, shopped together, attending family and friends gathering. She has been there for me to help out when I first deliver Sona and the list goes on. So, it's quite sad to live the next 2 years without our other half- I mean not my husband but my sister has been like my other half too. She is one sister who can count on, who you can depend on and who always been mistaken as my elder sister ( this will make her mad) but true, sometimes my younger sister act like one elder sister. She is irreplacable and I am so blessed to have her as sister.

One month from now she will take the same same flight to Newark airport, the difference sthis time, she won't be going with me, she will be with her dear hubby and flying business class ( VIP konon she said )Enjoy the journey dear sister ( watching CSI, Grey Anatomy back to back for 22 hours ) and make sure you'll bring back your MSc and a cute little made in American baby..( giving her some presure here) Sonali and her mum sure will miss you a lot! Enjoy your shopping, I still remember how we enjoyed our 2 weeks vacay/shopping etc 2 years ago and hope one day we can go and have another holiday again. Meanwhile, let me check here.Need to get ready for my own trip..ops, just a short holiday break! Sona mummy needs her break la!

100% Sales? That's what promted her to open the door !

It's understood how difficult/heavy the feeling when a very close sibling is going abroad for a relatively long period.

On the other hand, it's good for ur sis as what u said her wish comes true. Best wishes!

And I'll bring my baby to Disneyland when he grows up.
