Not The Best July

This is my worst month this year. Both of my major meeting will be held this month. Week after the other. This is one of the reason why I have close my cake booking. I am too busy this month and I think I need a month long rest from baking. Meeting, where? Tenom and then Keningau. Thank God I don't have to fly to get there but I am still worry how do I tell my boss that I want to go back and forth to Keningau and Tenom? Keningau I think I can still manage but I don't think I am willing to go back and forth to Tenom everyday for 5 days. Yes,both meeting will be held from monday to friday. I really don't mind to stay there for five days if I am not breasfeeding.I long for a holiday too but this is a great dilemma to leave a breasfeeding baby for five days. Keeping my finger cross that my boss will understand.

The meeting? Why so long? It's not just a normal meeting. This is where everyone has to do their yearly research progress presentation. Writing those reports took me almost the whole month of June. Most people say working with the goverment is easy but I guess this all depends on what work you do and which department you are in and what type of a person you are. It will be easy if you don't really do your work but even if you are good, that will be another problem.People will start to dump everything to you especially if you are not the person who can easily say no. I am not the best or the worse govertment servant. I used to be very good, even work on saturday and sunday but I think like most people, motivation dies after a few years and because of certain reasons .Better don't touch a sensitive subject.

Okay, my meeting and my report, Due to a sudden jump in workloads, I actually used two computer and one laptop to do my work. I even bring my work home and do my writing at home. I just wish my other laptop is here. It is still in KL, being repaired. I told hubby, we may have to buy a new laptop if It can't be fixed. It's time to check any Laptop buying guide to get the best laptop. I wish there is a laptop that can last a life time! I think this blog will be on a hiatus for a while and my oven will be off too..hope August come faster this time.
