2nd Miracle..

pHOto FROM jIM eSPOSITO PHOTOGRAPHY

I have to write this sooner than my other Perth stories as this miracle is too good to be true..but It happened and It is confirm today.

Everyone who follow my stories at my blog or who knows me remember how Sona was conceived. Just to do a recap. She was conceived in KK ( of course as my dh did not join me for my USA trip in 2007). Coming back from New York, I was ready to have my AF to come but yet it did not happend. I had a super busy week that week. It started when I have to rush to attend my department annual meeting in Promenade just after I landed at KKIA, yes, after a 22hours flight. I didnt even have time to have a jet lag! I was also busy doing some preparation to bake cakes and 200 pieces of cucpakes for my grandma 75th birthday bash at KDCA on the 28th June 2007 , so many things were on my mind that I actually forgot about other things until I was confirmed pregnant on the 28th, my birthday. That was my first MIRACLE.

As for now, Sona is about 19th months and she is growing very fast day by day.

I know I have told myself that we won't go to any overseas trip until later, may be 2010 or 2011 until Sona is quite big to understand things and remember what she sees but offer by Airasia is too good to resist.( The trip also made me realise you can actually bring your kids to travel, anytime you like, just make sure you keep the memories in paper or on video). I was feeling stressfull with my work when I suggested to hubby that we should go for a short break overseas ( somewhere neared) before going back for Deepavali this year. I was delighted when he said, okey and asked me to search for suitable place to bring Sona. So, in July I booked three tickets to Perth, Australia.

Little did I know that Perth is going to give me another MIRACLE.

I honestly didn't expect anything to happen there. I just want to enjoy the trip as family and have some rest from work. Worse, I even forgot when was my last menses. We do welcome an additional but we have not work too hard for it ( smile). The only trigger for me to have it fast is my endometriosis that will affect the chance of conception and I have started to feel the pain. It's depressing at times.

So, we went and had a blast. Sona enjoyed herself very much and until now still wanted to see the video that we took there and pictures of birds she loves so much. This miracle stories happened during our last day in Perth. We went for our last wine tasting experiences, I wanted to buy some wines and some nougats to bring home. Unfortunately, the Nougat factory was close. It only open from Tuesday to Sunday. That day was a Monday. That was frustruating. Suddenly, I remember a dream I had earlier. On my second night in Perth, I dreamt seeing myself in Tong Hing, going to get some Nougats.( this is a funny dream). I didnt manage to get Nougat from Perth so I have to get it from Tong Hing ( later I found out that nougat in Tong Hing is actually cheaper than some place in perth). In that same dream too, I have a baby boy. It seems that I recently have an easy pregnancy and resulted in me carrying a baby boy in Tong Hing, I can't recall anything other than the nougat and the boy. I told my cousin, if this nougat thing is true...what about the baby boy?

Back in KK, I live my ordinary life.Quite hard to adjust to kk the first day as 'I was still seeing' some wineries, kangaroos, familiar places in Perth ( this happens to me many times) and still having a bit of a jet lag. AF ( Aunty Flow-spme refer menses to AF) is still not here and I feel hungry most of the time. I think my mind is not ready to accept the fact that I might conceive an overseas baby again that I didn't bother to take any pregnancy test. Only last sunday, four days after we landed here I bought a kit from Guardian. We went out to have our dinner so I just thought, I better check.

Monday morning, I took out the test trip and tested...

YES!, 2 lines but the one is quite light...I sent a text message to my cousin in Perth. She sounded more excited than I am. I sent an email to my sister. During skype session she asked me why I don't sound excited.

The truth is, I am excited, happy but I also have mix feelings.I was shocked and surprised too. Why it only happen while I am overseas..One in America and now in Australia? What happen if I want a third one? Do I have to travel overseas again? London perhaps?I should be excited right? Anytime I feel like getting pregant, just book my flight, pack a bag and fly anywhere but Malaysia.

Well, I know it's still too early, people normally declare about their pregnancy after three months, after they are really sure about it. But, I am elated, I am excited, I am happy about my baby Australia even though he or she is still very tiny. I just pray that God will look after this baby well and bring him/her to this world safely in July next year. From the bottom my my heart, I thank God for this 2nd MIRACLE!
