Tessa pula.... Hmm, stopped her at 5 months plus because she kept on biting my nipples. Our daughter was about 1 &amp; half yrs old and we were concerned the Puting will damage her gums and growing milk teeth. So one night I took a tiny worm that we used to feed the aquarium fish, cut a tiny hole and inserted the giuk into the rubber nipple. Next morning I took her aside, showed her the doctored nipple and explained to her nicely the pacifier is dirty and infected with worms and she can&#39;t use it any more. That was it: cool turkey she quit; never look for it anymore.<br /><br />Post Script:<br /><br />It was mean but desperate situation need desperate measures! Rather this than teeth pointing in all directions. My #1 was only 14months and it only took me 3 days. Sadly, he doesnt take milk from the bottle, and he is so kurus until now.<br /><br />#2 is 20months and still fully breastfeeding. Sigh! I dont know how to wean him coz by now, he can understand a lot better. But I heard that as they get slightly older, they might stop bf on their own. (I heard that babies within 12-24months ada susah sikit. She only weaned when I brought her to the piano class. She suddenly felt so grown up! However, she only &#39;weaned&#39; from formula bottle (she drinks from training bottle) early this year when she started Primary 1! I was shocked after abt 1 week, when I wanted to bf her, she would refuse.. I was caught by surprise as I wasn&#39;t ready to stop bfg her. I was soo sad. By 10mth, she was 100% on formula.. I guess if you start supplementing with formula (and Sona likes it), weaning would be much easier..
