I used to be one.<BR/>The medical card indeed has its own purpose which the 'govt hospital' cant provide you. Of course all of us prefer the best medical service aint we? How if unforeseen happens and that we need to be hospitalized in the private hospital (in the event that the govt cant proceed with the 'treatment')? Oh my you are brave! I bot my life insurance the moment I started working and I was in the gov sector for over 5 yrs...anyway i do know a few people who doesnt belive in insurance too...but I for one think that it is part of life investment esp the medical card as you never know when you need it especially with the long que in gov hospital..
